WHAT WE HAUL
Two trucks, one owner, every load handled by the men driving it. We built Steelpine to do one thing, move heavy freight across the Upper Plains without losing it in a corporate dispatch system. Flatbed for the long pulls, hotshot for the urgent runs, and a phone that gets answered every time it rings.
HOTSHOT SERVICE
Same day and next day urgent loads up to 17,000 pounds. One ton diesel, gooseneck trailer, ready to roll within the hour. When your job site stops because a part didn't show, call us.
HEAVY HAUL AND AG
Construction equipment moves, oilfield iron, grain hauls, hay runs, ranch equipment. We've hauled it all across ND, MT, SD, and into Saskatchewan.
FLATBED FREIGHT
Pipe, casing, steel, prefab, machinery. If it needs straps and tarps, we move it. Standard 48 foot flatbed, drop deck available, oversize permitted on request.
BUILT IN WILLISTON, RUN BY OWNERS
Steelpine started in 2018 with one used Peterbilt and a phone that wouldn't stop ringing. Garrett Halvorsen put 280,000 miles on that first truck hauling pipe to Bakken rig sites before adding a second rig in 2022 and bringing on Cole Brunsdale to drive it. Eight years later we still answer every call ourselves, run our own dispatch, and keep our trucks tight. We're small on purpose, because that's how the work gets done right.
WHAT THE WORK SAYS
Steelpine has hauled pipe to our pads for four years running. Garrett picks up the phone, the truck shows up, the load comes off clean. That's all I need from a hauler.

We had a hydraulic pump go down on a dozer 200 miles from the yard. Cole had the replacement on a hotshot inside three hours. Whole crew was back to work the same day.
